The Catholic Schools of Greater Kalamazoo (CSGK) was formed in 2004 as a result of a recommendation from a Blue Ribbon Committee of the Diocese of Kalamazoo. It is a system of three schools governed by a board of limited jurisdiction. The board has authority over non-educational and non-extracurricular services. The board is comprised of the pastors from the eight supporting parishes, the president of each member school Local Council Advisory Board (LAC), and between five to seven lay members. Board meetings are generally held the last Friday of each month.
Each school within the CSGK has a Local Council Advisory Board (LAC). The purpose of the LAC is to advise the Principal in matters of programming, policies, finance, facilities, grounds, development, marketing, alumni relations, community relations, and relations with the Parishes. The LAC is also responsible for the annual evaluation of the principal.

Each school within the CSGK has a Local Council Advisory Board (LAC).
