Welcome to the Catholic Schools of Greater Kalamazoo! Our family of three schools is committed to the formation of the entire person—mind, body, and soul—through the cultivation of faith, knowledge, and service.
St. Augustine Cathedral School, located in downtown Kalamazoo, and St. Monica Catholic School, on the border of Kalamazoo and Portage, offer preschool through grade 8. Hackett Catholic Prep is a coeducational high school for grades 9 through 12.
Our Catholic schools create a well-rounded child, with a dual emphasis on academics and spiritual development. Students are encouraged to think outside themselves, to better the world around them, and to think critically and creatively.
We know you have questions about Catholic education as you discern the right choice for your family. We are more than happy to talk with you and welcome your family for a school tour – see the links at the right to contact us.

We highly recommend that you check out the Catholic Schools of Greater Kalamazoo! We have had four children graduate from Hackett Catholic Prep and currently have primary and middle school students at St. Augustine Cathedral School. The principals and school staff have high standards in education but also instill faith and values. There is a strong community within our schools; there is something very special here.
These schools are accessible for all families as tuition is scaled for family income and tuition assistance is available. The staff has your child's academic and character development at heart and focuses on lifting everyone up. During the pandemic school year 2020-21, the school overcame challenges to provide a successful classroom learning experience. The Catholic school staff work so hard to maintain a safe environment with high academic standards.
